Personal training in Staffordsihre
Personal Training - (weekdays only) - subject to availability.
A full training session taken by me, Steve Halls, Staffordshires' Premier Personal Trainer, in the Staffordshire area.
If you have not been trained by me before, I will carry out health checks (blood pressure, resting heart rate, lung function and if you desire, a full body composition check)
A single session will last for 1 hour.
The normal session will consist of:
- A warm-up. A full routine to mobilise all the joints. This loosens off the joints and gets the synovial fluid flowing back into them. Gradually warm up the muscles in preparation for the main bulk of the session to raise the pulse, prepare the mind and to avoid injury.
- Main Session. A Cardio-Vascular, resistance, or a mixture of both (circuits etc) to get you energised and working towards your fitness goal whether that be weight loss or toning etc. If this session is a part of ongoing training, you will be given a program to follow to help you to achieve your health and fitness goals.
- A Cool-Down and Stretch. A cool-down consisting of light exercise to bring your pulse rate back down to normal. Finishing off with stretches to improve your flexibility and to flush out the lactic acid that will have built up in your muscles.
I place a lot of emphasis on the fun element of training. When something is fun then you will keep your training going. Life for some people is about achieving certain goals and knowing that there are many different ways of getting there is helpful. Exercise should be, can be and with me is fun.
I have many training aids including Concept 2 Rower, Reebok Steps, Kettlebells, Medicine Balls, Free Weights, Boxing Equipment and much much more to play with in order to get you fit and healthy.
Why not try a different kind of 1 on 1 session. Some of the activities we can do quite easily are.
Badminton, Squash, Racquet Ball, Cycling, Climbing, Boxing, Swimming, Table Tennis and just about any ball game. With a bit of imagination and planning there are many other activities out there like Assault Course Training etc. I even have imaginative ways of exercising whilst playing Darts. If you don't believe me, try me.
The bottom line is HAVE FUN.
