Kilimanjaro Conquered - Yet Again.

Steve is back from a trip to Tanzania where he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa and the highest free standing mountain in the world.

Having reached the rim of the crater we walked past the Ice cliffs.  Very spectacular.

The summit, Uhuru Peak.  The perceived calmness belies the -20 degrees temperature and the howling wind.  All thoughts were now on running down the scree and having a nice cup of tea.
